© CTXCongratulations on 25 years of CTX Thermal Solutions! Looking back: What was the most significant technological development of your company?
Almost 25 years ago, we at CTX were already working intensively on liquid cooling solutions in addition to the usual solutions for electronics cooling at the time and included them in our portfolio of project-specific cooling solutions.
Is there an absolute 'bestseller' and what makes it so?
There is no absolute bestseller. The maxim is to find the optimum solution in each case - both technically and commercially.
It hasn't all been rosy in 25 years - what do you think was the most difficult time for the company?
Difficult times were the financial crisis in 2008/2009 and the coronavirus pandemic. We emerged from both times of crisis stronger and with a major growth spurt in each case.
What is the roadmap for the next ten to 15 years?
CTX is continuously investing in further growth. For example, we were able to put an expanded logistics center into operation in 2020. An additional office building is currently under construction. We are also constantly reviewing and expanding our product portfolio in order to meet future applications in the field of electronics cooling.
In addition, it remains a constant challenge to provide the necessary production capacities and to keep pace with technological trends and the required volume growth.
What technological trends do you see that are or will be important for CTX Thermal Solutions?
The challenges in the area of profile technology for liquid cooling solutions and heat pipes will remain great - constantly driven by further miniaturization and increased performance.
What do you think will be the biggest challenge in the next few years, commercially and/or technically?
CTX, like other companies in almost all industries, will have to struggle more and more with the availability of well-trained employees. Added to this are the ever faster changing political conditions.
