Stepper motors with Neugart gearbox
The stepper motors of the AZ series from Oriental Motor are now available with PLE planetary gearboxes from Neugart.
The PLE gearbox from Neugart is characterized by a high torque of 150 Nm and has an average service life of 30,000 hours. Other features include low weight, high torque density and a wide range of ratios (i=3 to i=512). With its low-friction deep groove ball bearing, optimized lubrication and low backlash, the PLE planetary gearbox is suitable for use in demanding production cycles.
Another design change in the AZ series from Oriental Motor concerns the connection of the motor to the driver: the cables for the motor, signals, brake and earthing are bundled together. Only a single cable with a lockable plug is required to connect the motor and driver. Cable lengths of up to 10 m are available in three different versions: Cable routing to the shaft, cable routing to the rear and vertical cable routing.
