SPS - Smart Production Solutions will take place for the 34th time from November 25 to 27, 2025. This year, those responsible at Mesago Messe Frankfurt are expecting around 1150 exhibitors in 15 exhibition halls, including well-known companies such as Siemens, Beckhoff Automation, Phoenix Contact and Bosch Rexroth as well as numerous start-ups.

A key topic is the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in production. Industrial AI is increasingly being used in processes such as engineering, control, predictive maintenance, quality control and adaptive production control. "Industrial AI is no longer a topic for the future - it is already a reality in many production environments. At SPS 2025, our exhibitors will show how AI is already being used in practice today and what potential the technology opens up in automation," says Sylke Schulz-Metzner, Vice President SPS.

The Guided Tours of the SmartFactory Kaiserslautern provide practical insights. Twice a day, tours take place at innovative companies in the hardware and software sector and shed light on technical challenges. "With our offer, we want to provide targeted insights into key technologies such as artificial intelligence, digital twins and security in system architecture," explains Dr. Ingo Herbst, press spokesperson for SmartFactory Kaiserslautern.

The supporting program

The supporting program comprises four stages in Halls 1, 3, 3C and 6. The Technology Stage in Hall 3, designed by VDMA and ZVEI, will feature almost 20 specialist presentations on Industrial AI and other automation topics such as digital transformation and sustainable production. In addition, "Meet the Speaker" zones will enable direct exchange with speakers.

There are three joint stands in Hall 6: "Automation meets IT" with a focus on digitalization and cybersecurity, an international start-up area and the "young INNOVATORS" area for young German companies funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection.

SPS is once again organizing the Makeathon and the Young Talents Day to promote young talent. During the Makeathon, teams develop prototypes within 2.5 hours, supported by companies and organizations such as ITQ and NürnbergMesse. Guided tours and career advice are offered on Young Talents Day.

Information on exhibitors, tickets and the program is available online at sps-messe.de.
