On the way to Industry 4.0 with the digital twin
Industry 4.0 is only really possible with the digital twin. The twin - also known as the administration shell - is a digital image of a physical "device" and contains all relevant data.
This includes, for example, descriptions of mechanical and electrical properties, documentation and certificates, software and behavioral descriptions. This pool of information serves as the basis for applications in the context of Industry 4.0 and must follow standards in order to enable cross-manufacturer collaboration and communication. This raises a variety of questions for machine manufacturers. Which standards can I no longer avoid? And: What specific steps can and must I take to remain competitive? Find out more in the presentation and look forward to a concrete example from practice!
Patrick Bruder, Business Development Manager Automation at Lenze, welcomes you to the presentation "On the way to Industry 4.0 with the Digital Twin".
Date: November 24, SPS Connect 24.11. - 15:40 - 16:00
