ABB has now announced its figures for the 2018 financial year: With growth of 8% in order intake and 4% in sales, Group management is very satisfied.

Group result for the 4th quarter of 2018: Total incoming orders increased by 7% (10% in US dollars) compared to the same quarter of the previous year, with growth in all divisions and regions. Sales improved by 5% (9% in US dollars) to USD 7.4 billion. The service business achieved sales growth of 4% (8% in US dollars), driven by solutions from the company's leading digital portfolio ABB Ability.
Net profit fell by 19% to USD 317 million compared to the same period of the previous year.
