Schaeffler - Precision shaft gearbox with integrated torque sensors
With the RT1, Schaeffler is launching a high-torque precision shaft gearbox for robotics onto the market, with which particularly compact articulated arms for above-average loads can be realized due to the high torque density. Their backlash-free and wear-resistant gearing enables high positioning accuracy over the entire service life of the gearbox. They are also optionally available with an integrated torque sensor as RT1-T. According to the manufacturer, the sensor system provides precise signals without any loss of rigidity in the overall mechanical system. The integrated sensor system supports safety functions as well as high-precision position and process control and can be used for active vibration compensation.
