The new Nordac Link field distributor series from Nord Drivesystems has been specially optimized for conveyor technology. The drive controller for flexible installation close to the motor is available as a frequency inverter (up to 7.5 kW) and motor starter (up to 3 kW) and, according to the manufacturer, offers fast commissioning, simple operation and maintenance. This is achieved, among other things, through pluggability - all modules, components and connections are joined together using simple plug connections. The field distributor can be freely configured for every requirement and application and can be integrated into all modern systems thanks to its integrated PLC and compatibility with all standard bus systems. The company's energy-efficient IE4 synchronous motors are also said to be particularly suitable for reducing the total cost of ownership (TCO) of conveyor systems. With Logidrive, Nord also offers a coordinated drive system for intralogistics and airport applications - a standardized geared motor variant consisting of a two-stage Nordbloc.1 bevel gearbox, an energy-efficient IE4 synchronous motor and the Nordac Link SK 250E frequency inverter.
