Insys icom is launching four new plug-in cards for the MRX modular router series: the MRcards Fiber, WLAN, Multi-I/Os and LTE/serial. This enables fast, cost-effective updates of the industrial routers to future standards such as fiber optic connection, LoRa and WLAN. Thanks to the modularity of the routers, the interfaces can also be implemented during operation without having to reprogram the application. There is a new function in the 'icom Data Suite' software for verification management: the router uses the data logger to record machine data, save it and send it as a csv file if required. Data logging and gateway function are covered by a single device. This function is particularly suitable for small applications that do not require a complex IoT cloud connection.
