With the help of the universal LCB measuring amplifier from Althen Sensors & Controls, the analog measuring signal (mV/V) of a strain gauge sensor is converted into a digital signal, making it IoT-compatible. This means that if a measuring chain is subsequently digitized, the existing load cell can still be used and there is no need to replace existing analogue sensors. It can be connected to PLCs via various fieldbus types. The measuring amplifier is configured via the micro USB interface. It is suitable for use in the food, packaging, beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical, steel, transportation, railroad and bulk goods industries.
