SPS 2019New products in Nuremberg
What new products did the exhibitors present at SPS 2019? Computer&AUTOMATION provides an overview of what awaited visitors to the Nuremberg exhibition halls this year.

With the RMG/941, SSV has developed an IoT gateway that combines four task areas from industrial remote maintenance in a compact DIN rail housing. In addition to the classic VPN remote access interface for manual maintenance tasks, it particularly supports component, machine and system connection to the IoT platforms of the market-leading cloud platforms via CoAP, MQTT, REST or OPC UA. Real end-to-end cyber security is available from the sensor to the actuator. For example, sensor readings at one end can be provided with a digital signature using a public key infrastructure (PKI), which actuators at the other end can verify using an X.509 certificate and a public key. This guarantees the authenticity and integrity of the data for distributed applications. In addition to integrated machine learning functions for anomaly detection through permanent real-time analysis of sensor data, the IoT gateway has a modular system for the secure remote software update of OT modules. The device is available in three different hardware variants. Depending on the variant, the connection to the internet can be established via Ethernet, 4G or NB-IoT mobile modem. All common IoT and cloud protocols are supported. The cyber security functions are based on OpenSSL.
