'Industrial Intelligence' - this is the guiding theme of the Hannover Messe 2019. Computer&AUTOMATION shows an excerpt of the products that can be seen in Hanover in a picture gallery.
The PMCprimo C2 motion control system from Pilz is now equipped with a 1.3 GHz processor. This enables fast commissioning thanks to programming via soft PLC to IEC 61131. The upgrade to version 3.5 of the PLC means that all the features of object-oriented programming are available. Thanks to the integrated real-time task (processing time 1 ms), it is also possible to implement high-performance applications such as path interpolation. The control system is equipped with the real-time Ethernet Ethercat master, and the system also supports master and slave communication interfaces such as Modbus/TCP, CAN or Profibus-DP-S. The 'PMCprimo' control systems have PLC and motion functionality and take over the automation within a system, including motion management on servo axes. Up to 32 axes can be flexibly linked in the manner of an electronic king shaft and simple CNC tasks can be solved. Standard functions such as 'flying saw', 'cross cutter' or 'cam disk functions' are stored as function blocks. Machine functions such as 'tubular bag packaging' are also available.
