There are four variants of the VariaPro cable glands from Hummel designed for industry-specific requirements. What all variants have in common is their robust design and tightness (IP68 up to 10 bar). In addition, there is the integrated EMC connection as standard. 'VariaPro Rail' meets all requirements for use in rail transportation. It has passed the tests of the fire protection standards DIN EN variants 45545-2 and 45545-3 and fulfills fire resistance class E30. This means that the screw fitting can be used without restriction in all trains on the European rail network. 'VariaPro Temp' works in extremely low temperatures as well as in the direct vicinity of very high temperatures. It covers the temperature range from -60 to +200°C. The EHEDG-certified 'Inox-HD Pro' cable gland in a stainless steel housing is ideal for hygienically sensitive applications in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The 'VariaPro FKM' variant is particularly resistant to acids and chemicals and is therefore particularly suitable for the process industry. All fittings are available in sizes M20 to M40. Thanks to special reducer inserts, they cover a wide range of cable diameters.
