Product picture galleryInnovations in drive technology
Without drive technology - in the truest sense of the word - nothing would turn in most machines and systems. Computer&AUTOMATION presents the latest innovations in this automation discipline in a series of pictures.

The new version of the Gemü 9428 actuator from Gebr. Müller Apparatebau with a nominal torque of 55 Nm completes the Gemü 9428 and Gemü 9468 series. This addition to the portfolio means that a comprehensive product range with nominal torques from 6 Nm to 400 Nm is now available. Depending on the version, actuating times of between 4 and 29 seconds can be achieved. The actuators have an optical position indicator and manual override as standard. The end positions of the quarter turn valve can be adjusted via microswitches. In addition to an emergency power supply, it is also possible to control various signaling devices using two potential-free limit switches. A control module can also be integrated. The GEMÜ 9428 and 9468 motorized quarter turn actuators can be used for all valves with a quarter turn range of 90° and a standard flange in accordance with EN ISO 5211. The motor and gearbox are housed in a weatherproof plastic housing. Both quarter turn actuators are designed for both DC and AC operating voltages and can be supplied with different electrical connection variants depending on the application.
