Baumüller is presenting its new interface variant with internal gearing for motor-pump combinations. This new option, which will be available for the DSC, DSP, DSD2 and DS2 servomotor series, eliminates the need for other transmission elements such as couplings and bellhousings. Other new additions to the motor range include the DSE, which can primarily be integrated into existing machine housings as a kit solution, but is also available as a housing variant, as well as the new sizes of the DST2 high-torque series. The direct drives have been expanded to include sizes 500 and 650 and offer a torque range of up to 60,000 Nm. In the field of decentralized drive solutions, Baumüller is presenting the b maXX 2500 drive concept in the new size 36 and with additional optimizations. According to the manufacturer, the drive is installed in a more compact housing and simplifies the wiring in the version with hybrid cable by also using more compact connectors. This should reduce the space required and cut commissioning time and costs.
