The new Xtreme-Torque stepper motor series in size Nema 23 in the A-Drive range offers increased torque. The Xtreme stepper motor type E5718 offers a maximum torque of 1.84 Nm. According to the manufacturer, this makes it the motor with the highest power density in its class. The motors are available in versions with connectors or free cable ends. The manufacturer also offers flexible mechanical modifications adapted to the respective requirements. With conventional stepper motors, step losses and possible blockages can limit the range of applications. The motors have been specially developed to compensate for these disadvantages. The increased torque reduces step losses and motor standstills. This is intended to increase reliability and extend the application range of the controlled stepper motor systems.
