There is currently no nationwide charging network for electric cars in Germany. Anchar', an idea by Leonard Sondermann, Felix Ulonska and Moritz Kunz from Annette-von-Droste-Hülshoff-Gymnasium in Münster, aims to remedy this situation.

'German Chancellor's Award for the Most Original Work 2019' for Anton Fehnker (17) and Jonas Münz (16):
Both car drivers and cyclists are familiar with this: small ripples have formed on some roads over time, causing an unpleasant shaking sensation when braking. But how do these ripple patterns actually come about? To find out, Anton Fehnker and Simon Raschke devised an unusual experiment: they had a wheel, driven by a windscreen wiper motor, ride around in circles on a sand-filled tub for a long time. They noticed that after a short time, the wheel began to bounce - because the first ripples had formed on the initially flat sand surface. Detailed analysis of the measurements showed that the formation of ripples is not linear, but follows extremely complex, chaotic laws.
