With the Wise-5231, ICPDAS offers an industrial, easy-to-configure IoT gateway. No programming is required: With just a few clicks in the web-based user interface, signals can be transmitted from the sensor to the cloud and back to the actuator. The gateway uses Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP at field level for this purpose. For small applications, the gateway itself can be equipped with inputs and outputs. The MQTT protocol is used towards the cloud. Thanks to the integrated 'If-Then-Else Rule Engine', up to 36 dependency rules between inputs, outputs and functions can be defined without additional software. Once activated, these are then run through permanently. With the integrated data logger function, data from the field level can be saved on a time-controlled or triggered basis and transferred via FTP. If the transfer does not work, the transfer is repeated until it is successful. Up to 32 Gbyte are available for storage on a microSD card. The operating temperature is specified as -25 to +75 °C.
