ICP Germany has launched the new embedded system uIBX-250 with external dimensions of 137 mm × 103 mm × 52 mm. The passively cooled housing houses an Intel Celeron N3160 quad-core processor with up to 8 Gbyte DDR3L SO-DIMM. The following connections are provided on two opposite sides: HDMI and VGA with dual display support, two Gigabit LAN, four USB 3.0 and two RS232/422/485 as well as two audio. A WLAN module can be retrofitted via an internal PCIe mini card slot. The system is designed for operating temperatures from -20 to +60 °C; it offers vibration and shock resistance in accordance with the MIL standard as well as VESA and wall mounting options. The uIBX-250 is supplied as a barebone or complete system with a pre-installed 2.5-inch SATA 6Gb/s HDD/SSD and Microsoft Embedded Standard 7 or Windows 8.
