Siemens - Q4 and full year 2017'Digital Factory' is growing the fastest
Siemens has announced its figures for fiscal year 2017, which ended on September 30. The frontrunner in terms of turnover: the 'Digital Factory' division with an increase of 9% on a comparable basis - i.e. excluding currency translation and portfolio effects.

The Building Technologies division delivered a strong final quarter of the year - with increases in incoming orders, sales revenue and earnings. The growth in order intake was due to new orders in the solutions and service business in the USA. Siemens attributed the increase in sales revenue in all regions to the strength of the service business. Together with productivity improvements, this led to an increase in earnings and profitability.
