Siemens - Q4 and full year 2017'Digital Factory' is growing the fastest
Siemens has announced its figures for fiscal year 2017, which ended on September 30. The frontrunner in terms of turnover: the 'Digital Factory' division with an increase of 9% on a comparable basis - i.e. excluding currency translation and portfolio effects.

A higher volume of major orders led to an increase in incoming orders in the Mobility division. These included new orders in Europe and Asia, including the largest for a driverless subway train in Austria. Sales growth increased due to the successful execution of major orders for trains and locomotives in Europe and the USA. Earnings increased thanks to higher sales revenue and a strong contribution from the division's digitalization and automation businesses.
