Hollow shaft rotary table for high torques
Hollow shaft rotary tables from Oriental Motor's 'DGII' series are now also available in combination with the servomotors from the 'AZX' series for high torques in the upper speed range.
The rotating actuators in the DGII series combine a hollow-shaft rotary table with a high-torque servomotor. Thanks to the battery-free mechanical absolute encoder, this combination is characterized by a repeat accuracy of ±15 angular seconds. The absolute encoder also enables the drive to move quickly to the home position, meaning that machine cycles are significantly shortened by using the hollow shaft rotary table. As the rotary encoder of the drives works without a battery, designers also save on wiring and installation space for reference sensors. The servomotors are supplied with a driver with fieldbus (Ethercat, Profinet or Ethernet/IP). Their programming is simplified by the 'Mexe02' parameterization software from Oriental Motor. The hollow shaft rotary table with AZX drive has high rigidity and is designed for torques up to a maximum of 50 Nm, speeds up to 1833 °/s as well as load torques up to 100 Nm and loads up to 4000 N.
