Frequency inverter controls motors up to 22 kW
ABB is expanding its family of Machinery Drives with a compact, robust and adaptable frequency inverter for machine builders.
The all-compatible Machinery Drive ACS180 from ABB Motion ensures reliable machine operation with essential application control functions. The frequency inverter has precise vector control for asynchronous and permanent magnet motors with an output of 0.25 to 22 kW. Other features include Modbus RTU communication, adaptive programming and functional safety (STO). The ACS180 can, for example, control conveyor systems, pumps, fans, mixers and compressors in various industries, including the food and beverage industry, textile industry, conveyor technology and commercial applications.
