Acoustic camera for detecting compressed air leaks

The 'Si1-LD' acoustic camera for industrial use from Flir enables the fast and precise detection of compressed air leaks. Compared to the 'Si124-LD Plus', it offers improved detection and quantification capabilities as well as a higher upper cut-off frequency range.

An array of 96 microphones (2 to 100 kHz) enables automatic detection, location and measurement of compressed air and vacuum leaks from a safe distance of up to 130 m. Support comes from a 12 MP color camera with 8x digital zoom and an LED light for easy capture of visual details. Bandpass filters allow inspectors to block out confusing and/or false ultrasound sources without manual adjustments. One-handed operation and AI are among the other features of Flir's compact ultrasonic acoustic camera. The touchscreen user interface displays high-resolution images for easy identification of problems - with real-time quantification on the device itself in the form of leak flow rate and annualized leakage costs. The device is available in two versions - with and without WLAN.
