Bernhard Sattler is the new Managing Director
Gunther Koschnick will be succeeded by Bernhard Sattler as the new Managing Director of the ZVEI Electrical Drives Division. Koschnick himself will remain Managing Director of the ZVEI Automation Division.
Bernhard Sattler has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the ZVEI's Electrical Drives division within the Automation Association. Sattler has worked for the ZVEI as Manager for Motors and Frequency Inverters since 2001 and has played a key role in shaping the energy efficiency specifications for motors and frequency inverters. "In addition to the requirements for the components, we must continue to consistently pursue the path of optimizing the entire system. The first standards have already been developed, but this is just the beginning and must be followed by further activities," says Sattler about his new role. Another focus is on strengthening the European drive industry. "We must proactively shape the megatrends of digitalization and sustainability for drives in order to strengthen the leading position of the European drive industry in the future."
