From 12 to 14 November 2024, SPS - Smart Production Solutions will offer vocational school pupils, students and young professionals the opportunity to network, expand their knowledge and gain valuable insights into the world of smart and digital automation with practice-oriented program items in the industry. For the first time, the organizer, Mesago Messe Frankfurt, is offering a focused and targeted program for young people. In addition to the Young Talents Day with various activities on the last day of the fair, a Makeathon will take place throughout the entire duration of the fair, where interested parties can work and tinker with real tasks from well-known companies.

SPS Makeathon - Hands-on and hands-on project tasks

The "SPS Makeathon" will take place in cooperation with the experienced Makeathon organizer ITQ and new automation e.V. on all three days of the trade fair in the middle of the action. Independent sessions are offered in the mornings and afternoons, in which teams work on a defined project - from the idea to the technical solution. Exhibitors sponsor a project table, prepare the tasks and present them. They also provide a supervisor from their training department as well as the necessary hardware and software. Experienced Makeathon coaches from ITQ will moderate the event at the trade fair and will be available to answer questions if required. Participating companies in this year's Makeathon are Baumüller Nuremberg, Hans Turck, Murrelektronik, Pepperl+Fuchs, SEW-Eurodrive and Sick.
