Dekra labor market report 2018Mechanical and electrical engineers less in demand
Software developers and programmers were most in demand on the job market in spring. Demand for traditional engineering disciplines has fallen compared to the previous year. These are the findings of the Dekra Akademie's Labor Market Report'18.

The occupations in the sample are spread across 28 occupational field groups or fields of activity. Almost half of all job vacancies were advertised by companies in the first five occupational fields (46%). IT professions make up by far the highest proportion of the sample.
