The German economic engine is stuttering and employees are increasingly worried about losing their jobs. According to the latest 'EY Job Study 2019', employees in the mechanical engineering sector in particular are very willing to change jobs. Many no longer consider their job to be secure.
... Oliver Simon: "We have observed a certain sluggishness in recent years. Many employees had settled comfortably into their posts. That has changed. However, it is also in the interests of employers that employees want to make progress. Ideally, the entire company benefits from this. If knowledge of new technologies increases within the company and employees keep their finger on the pulse, the chances of adapting the business model and developing new products or services also increase."
