The German economic engine is stuttering and employees are increasingly worried about losing their jobs. According to the latest 'EY Job Study 2019', employees in the mechanical engineering sector in particular are very willing to change jobs. Many no longer consider their job to be secure.

Accordingly, loyalty towards the company has recently decreased significantly. Only 65% still feel connected to their employer - significantly less than in the previous surveys in 2017 (82%) or 2015 (77%).
