The German economic engine is stuttering and employees are increasingly worried about losing their jobs. According to the latest 'EY Job Study 2019', employees in the mechanical engineering sector in particular are very willing to change jobs. Many no longer consider their job to be secure.

17% of employees are looking around the job market, according to the 'Job Study 2019' by Ernst & Young; in 2017, only 8% were looking for a new employer. A further 19% are not looking directly - but would change employer if faced with the right offer.
