Specially for water and wastewater applications

The Vegapuls WL S 61 radar sensor is particularly suitable for simple applications in the water and waste water sector and offers a wide range of installation options. The radar technology is independent of temperature influences, wind movements, fog or rain.

In addition, no compensation of the signal transit time due to temperature fluctuations is required. With an accuracy of ±5 mm, the sensor covers a wide range of applications. It is particularly suitable for level and flow measurement in water treatment. According to the manufacturer, its very good focusing enables it to be used in pumping stations and rainwater overflow basins, for flow measurement in open channels and for level monitoring. The robust housing of the sensor is wear-resistant, maintenance-free and designed in protection class IP68 (2 bar). The devices comply with the current LPR standard (Level Probing Radar) and are approved for outdoor use without restriction.
