Radar sensors for harsh environmental conditions
Symeo is presenting three sensor systems: 'LPR-1DHP-350' is a slim entry-level solution that can be used as a replacement for ultrasonic sensors without their sensitivity to wind, weather and dirt. The 120 GHz frequency range is used.
LPR-1DHP-291 is a robust sensor system from Symeo for accurate real-time distance measurement up to 50m with a single sensor. By using two 'LPR-1DHP-291' sensors as a cooperating system, the range is increased to up to 500m. The industrial radar system with integrated directional antenna achieves a measurement accuracy in the millimeter range. The LPR-1D24 cooperative radar system supports a distance measurement of up to 1000 m. As the system operates at 24 GHz, the simultaneous operation of a radio data network (WiFi) at 2.4 or 5.7 GHz is possible at any time without interference. In addition to the distances, the relative speed of the LPR sensors is also output. Other measured values can also be transmitted via the LPR radio channel (LPR = Local Positioning Radar).
