With the Nesos product series, Jumo is launching devices for level measurement using floats and reed contacts and for level measurement using floats and reed chains. In the devices, a float with integrated magnet switches one or more reed contacts via its magnetic field as the level rises or falls. Measurement is possible in liquid media regardless of foaming, conductivity/permittivity or pressure conditions. The devices can be used for point level measurement in the temperature range from -52 to +240 °C. They offer a switching point accuracy of ±2 mm. The installation of a temperature switch and a Pt100 or Pt1000 temperature sensor is possible as an option. The switching process is contactless and wear-free without auxiliary energy. The devices also offer a quasi-continuous standard signal from 4 to 20 mA and a temperature range from -52 to +200 °C for level measurement. The resolution is up to 5 mm. Variants with Pt100 or Pt1000 temperature sensors are optionally available. Approvals for shipbuilding and/or explosion-protected areas as well as a certificate for the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) are available.
