Product presentationsNews from the field of sensor technology
580 exhibitors will be showcasing their latest products from the world of sensors at Sensor+Test at the end of June 2018. Computer&AUTOMATION shows a selection of these in a picture gallery.

Sensitec claims to have an angle sensor with up to 100 times lower energy consumption than comparable sensors in its range. The TA900 sensor owes this to the tunnel magnetoresistive (TMR) effect. The TMR angle sensor enables 360° absolute measurement and uses the "FreePitch" design, which means that it can be used independently of a magnetic pole pitch. The sensor's features include low harmonic output signals, non-contact measurement, a large working distance according to the manufacturer, high signal amplitudes with low offset voltages and stability over the temperature application range. Due to its low power consumption, the sensor is also suitable for applications that are operated with batteries or energy harvesting, or for explosion protection.
