Current productsNews from sensor technology
What would the smart factory of today and tomorrow be without sensors? Sensors are indispensable as the basis of every industrial production system. Computer&AUTOMATION has summarized current trends in a picture gallery.

With the iTherm TrustSens TM371, Endress+Hauser offers a sensor technology with a fully automated inline self-calibration function for hygienic and aseptic applications. The hygienic thermometer is primarily intended for users in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage industries who require complete compliance with FDA and GMP regulations. The core of the temperature sensor is a sensor unit consisting of a primary Pt100 temperature sensor and a highly accurate integrated reference. The reference sensor uses a physical fixed point based on the Curie temperature and thus serves to regularly calibrate the primary sensor. This means that the measuring accuracy of the temperature sensor is permanently monitored throughout its entire service life. The integrated intelligent electronics have a wide range of diagnostic functions, which are categorized in accordance with NAMUR recommendation NE107 and transmitted via HART communication. Status signals are also signaled on site via the LED integrated in the device. In addition to the automated calibration itself, the data from the last 350 calibrations is stored directly in the device. This means that a long-term device and process history can be accessed, which is used as a basis for early trend detection and prediction.
