With the PT330570, ipf electronic offers an optical laser scanner with IO-Link that has a scanning range of up to 250 mm despite laser protection class 1. Its setting range is defined between 30 and 250 mm. With the diffuse sensor, which combines transmitter and receiver in one device, the transmitted laser beam is reflected by the object to be detected and detected by the receiver, whereby the switching output integrated in the device changes its status. Thanks to the integrated background suppression, the diffuse sensor is particularly suitable for detecting objects with strongly changing surface colors and suppressing components in the background. Thanks to its highly visible and focused light beam, even small or extremely thin objects can be reliably detected, according to the supplier. The sensor is equipped with an IO-Link interface and can therefore transmit process and diagnostic data to a higher-level controller and be parameterized during operation. Housed in a plastic housing, the 39 mm x 13 mm x 23 mm sensor is suitable for tight installation spaces; it complies with protection class IP67 and operates in the temperature range from -10 to +60 °C.
