Current productsNews about sensor technology
What would the smart factory of today and tomorrow be without sensors? Sensors are indispensable as the basis of every industrial production system. Computer&AUTOMATION has summarized current trends from spring 2017 in a picture gallery.

Denso is launching the BHT-1200 RFID (BHT-1281QULWB-CE) and QK30-IC scanners onto the market. Both devices are based on RFID or NFC (Near Frequency Communication). The "BHT-1200 RFID" can withstand temperatures from -20 to +50 °C and, according to the manufacturer, offers a high reading speed. Using RFID technology, it is possible to scan codes from a maximum distance of 5 m. The device is particularly suitable for the logistics and retail sectors: Many items that would otherwise have to be scanned individually can now be captured with a single scan. For example, it is sufficient to scan once across a storage location to directly check the number, size and color of several items. The battery life of the device is specified as up to 60 hours. The "QK30-IC" scanner is equipped with modern NFC technology and combines the standard "QK30" model with a chip card reader. In addition to mobile and printed QR codes, it can also read IC chip cards.
