The KiTorq 4550A torque sensor with angle detection from Kistler enables torque, speed or angle of rotation to be determined with a resolution of up to 8192 pulses per revolution. The number of pulses can be adjusted as required. The torque measuring flange system consists of a measuring body, the 'KiTorq' rotor, and a torque evaluation unit, the 'KiTorq' stator. The system offers manufacturers of electric motors, combustion engines, gearboxes, pumps and compressors a high degree of flexibility when selecting suitable components for the respective test bench, as the ringless stator enables the use of different measuring bodies without the need to completely modify the test equipment.
