Baumer is launching new variants from the AlphaProx family onto the market. The measuring inductive sensors in the 6.5 mm diameter, M8 and M12 sizes offer a 50 % extended measuring range of 3 mm and 6 mm respectively. This means that the sensors can be mounted at a greater safety distance from the object and are also protected against mechanical damage in critical applications such as measuring the deflection of a saw blade. The sensors are 30 mm long.
