Inclination sensor from Kübler
© Fritz Kübler

Kübler is launching an inclination sensor with IP67 and IP69k protection, which covers a temperature range between -40 and +85 °C and offers shock resistance up to 100 g and vibration resistance up to 10 g. The inclination sensor measures two-dimensional inclinations in the measuring range of ±85° or one-dimensional inclinations up to 360°. Its resolution is 0.01°. At a temperature of +25 °C, an absolute accuracy of ±0.4° is possible. The measuring principle is capacitive or MEMS. The inclination sensors can be adapted to the respective application using filter settings that can be individually parameterized via CANopen. The sensors are available with one M12 connector or two M12 connectors. Their power supply is 10 to 30 V(DC). A variant with analog output is planned. Thanks to the flat design of 80 mm × 60 mm × 23 mm, the E1 and UL-certified inclination sensors are easy to install, can be stacked on top of each other and serve as a redundant solution.
