ipf electronicMeasuring flow rates in pipes
With the 'SM89x-SM9xx', ipf electronic is launching a new series of magnetic-inductive sensors made entirely of stainless steel.

With the SM89x-SM9xx series, ipf electronic offers electromagnetic sensors made entirely of stainless steel for flow measurement, dosing and temperature measurement of conductive media, which consist of a compact unit comprising a sensor and evaluation electronics and are primarily used to measure small and medium flow rates in pipelines. They are available in seven device variants for a wide range of process connections (G1/4, G1/2, G3/4 and G1), covering measuring ranges from 0.01 to 100 l/min. In addition, the sensors offer response times of less than 100 ms in some cases, for example when monitoring dosing. Settings can be made using the four buttons on the color digital display and, among other things, functions for dosing or temperature measurement (PT1000) can be assigned to quick selection buttons. The display offers options for on-site configuration and calibration. If desired, the display warns of limit value violations with changing colors.
