With the F02, Sensor-Technik Wiedemann presents a pressure transmitter that has been developed in accordance with the requirements of the EN 13849-1 and IEC 61508 standards and certified by TÜV Saar. In combination with a suitable controller, the transmitter offers Performance Level d (PLd) and Safety Integrity Level 2 (SIL2). The device has a compact design with a width across flats of 22 mm and an overall length of approx. 50 mm. It is suitable for pressure ranges between 10 and 1000 bar and has two counter-rotating 4 to 20 mA outputs, which ensure that not only the signal itself but also the transmission path from the transmitter to the controller can be monitored. The two output signals must be recorded and evaluated by a corresponding controller. The pressure transmitter was specially developed for use in mobile machinery and has E1 approval.
