Fully electronic dual logic modules

With the VL170102 and VL170122, ipf electronic offers two fully electronic dual logic modules with M12 connections for AND and OR links.

The outputs of the sensors connected to the VL170102 are AND-linked via the integrated electronics so that the switching output of the distributor only becomes active when the switching outputs of both sensors are switched on at the same time. Other solutions on the market connect connected devices in series via internal wiring, so that the switching output of the first sensor internally supplies the operating voltage for the second sensor, whose output then functions as the switching output for the distributor, which sometimes leads to unsafe switching behavior. With the VL170102 from ipf electronic, on the other hand, 'clean' signals are present at the control unit with AND links as if only one sensor were connected. The same applies to the VL170122, where the integrated electronics ensure that the outputs of the connected sensors are OR-linked. The switching output of the distributor is always active when at least one of the two sensors is switched on.
