With the Sensor Bridge, Steute's 'Wireless' division presents a new and central component for the 'sWave-Net' wireless network.

As classic middleware, this software interface processes all messages received from the wireless switching devices and sensors in the field and bundled by the access points, and forwards them to the applications registered for this purpose. The 'Sensor Bridge' acts as a 'translator' between different protocols and as a management level for the wireless network. Simplified data integration, secure local pre-processing and detailed usage statistics are among the functions of the software interface. Thanks to the universal connectivity of the interface, the solution can be integrated into any production environment, according to the manufacturer. The selection of supported protocols is constantly being expanded. Currently available are REST (XML/json), http(s) notifications and Modbus TCP, among others, without the need for additional hardware.
