Pilz hosted its annual press conference on April 6: In addition to the figures for the past financial year 2015, the provider of safe automation solutions from Ostfildern also announced the first information on the Hannover Messe innovations.

According to Armin Glaser, Head of Product Management, Pilz will be launching further new products on the market over the course of the year - including an Ethernet Powerlink interface for the configurable control system 'PNOZmulti 2'. Furthermore, the second generation of the I/O family 'PSSuniversal' is in the works, which will also allow partial assembly in future. Last but not least, the 'PSS 4000' automation system will enable secure communication between different automation projects and support multi-user projects.
