Bitkom studyIndustry in the crosshairs
German industry is increasingly being targeted by criminals: This is the result of a study for which the digital association Bitkom surveyed 503 managing directors and security managers:

The chemical and pharmaceutical sectors and the automotive industry were particularly affected. However, the mechanical and plant engineering sector and manufacturers of communications and electrical engineering were also subject to a large number of attacks. The manufacturing industry in Germany is particularly innovative and is the global market leader in many areas. According to Bitkom, this part of the economy is therefore always a particularly strong focus for hackers.
