Qualification of C++ Template Libraries Templates are a very powerful programming tool in the C++ language. The qualification of template libraries can either be left completely to the user or be done generically. With the generic approach, all that remains is to show that the library is instantiated correctly.
In the presentation, the requirements of the safety standards (ISO 26262 and IEC 61508) for libraries are presented and the additional challenges posed by the templates are shown. We will use examples to demonstrate the new, generic qualification.
