IAI Industrieroboter has expanded its range of freely programmable electric grippers with a two-point lifting magnet gripper for small parts assembly. The two-point lifting magnet gripper is available in two versions: In the smallest version, it enables maximum gripping forces of 10 N, in the larger version it is 20 N. Both versions have a stroke of 4 mm with dead weights of 160 g and 270 g respectively. The electric grippers only require one cable for the power supply and sensor signals, which simplifies installation in complex systems and makes them very safe during operation. The grippers require 0.03 s to open and close. The grippers are used wherever delicate small parts need to be picked up and moved safely and in an energy-saving manner.
