Kuka has chosen an outstanding concept in the field of human-machine collaboration: The 'CoAware' team convinced the jury with its demonstration in the fields of dynamic human modeling, image processing and interaction control for robots.

The team from the University of Pennsylvania has been working on the challenges that arise when handling liquid-filled containers and precise dosing in relation to the pharmaceutical industry. For this purpose, a laboratory environment is simulated and the sensors of the robot arm and two camera systems are used for control.
