The 'Paexo Thumb' exoskeleton is designed to support people who use their thumbs every day at work - for example when clipping, inserting and plugging in assembly. The small and very light exoskeleton relieves the thumb by up to 70% by transferring the forces to the entire hand. This protects the thumb joints and, according to the manufacturer Ottobock, protects the thumb tip from mechanical impact.
