International Federation of RoboticsDouble-digit growth forecast for 2021
The number of industrial robots in factories worldwide has risen by 10% to a new record of around 3 million units - as reported by the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) in the new 'World Robotics 2021' yearbook.

Asia is the world's largest market for industrial robots. 71% of all newly installed units were sold in Asia in 2020 (2019: 67%). The largest user country in the region is China, where sales rose by 20% with 168,400 robots delivered.
